Notes On Select Title Changes
- Awarded as first champion via decision of NWA Virginia when title is renamed NWA Virginia Jr Heavyweight title.
- Defeated Robert Royal in a best of seven series.
- The title is vacated when Chris Escobar "retires" via phonecall, Grail defeats Sean (Denny) Lei for the vacant title.
- In a pre-match interview Grail states that the only way Vaughan will get the title is to "make him submit" - the match continues and Grail retains his title when Vaughan submits.
- NWA VA board instates a submission only rule in the Jr Heavyweight division due to Grail's own tricks.
- Grail wins a challenge in a casket match.
